The Central Valley Political Archive of the Henry Madden Library at California State University, Fresno, is comprised of several collections of political papers. Anyone is welcome to use the collections but all materials must be viewed in the reading room. A photo I.D. is required while conducting research. Photocopying is done by our staff. The CVPA is now housed with the Special Collections Research Center on the fourth floor. All collections are available for research by appointment, Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Consult the Library Calendar for holidays and other closures.
Due to mandated furloughs, the CVPA/Special Collections Research Center will be closed on furlough days, two days a month from August 2009 through June 2010. Please see below for exact furlough closure dates.
