CVPA collections are available for research by appointment only between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Please call ahead to make arrangements.

Visiting from out of town:

The CVPA is located in the south wing on the fourth floor of the Henry Madden Library at California State University, Fresno. If you are visiting from out of town, please let us know in advance so we will know when to expect you and be able to have materials ready for you. Parking on campus is controlled by day pass or coin-operated meter ($1.00/hour). Passes can be purchased for $3.00 at one of the parking pass machines near the entrances to campus. Please refer to the campus map if you need assistance in navigating around campus.

For overnight accommodations, there are two motels near campus. One is University Inn, at 2655 E. Shaw Avenue, 1-800-800-8000 or (559) 294-0224. The other is the Piccadilly Inn University Hotel at 4961 N. Cedar Avenue, 1-800-468-3587 or (559) 224-4200.

Digital Reproductions

Basic, low resolution, on-demand scanning for research purposes or personal use (scanning for publication is referred to the campus photographer). These scans will be delivered via e-mail at a cost of $5 per message.

Professional, high-quality digital scans for publication or exhibit purposes. $25/each

(Delivery via CD or DVD is $10 per disc plus the cost of shipping and handling.)

Shipping & handling: Minimum fee is $5 per request. Overnight Express and other special delivery services are provided at cost plus a $25 handling fee and the rush fee.

*Research service is only for out-of-town researchers (non-students) who are unable to travel to campus.
